2010 State Convention
The Democratic Party is excited to host its 2010 Convention in Athens, Georgia on August 14th, from 9:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. In addition to the business of the convention, the weekend will include trainings, film screenings, and other events. The Convention will take place at the Classic Center in downtown Athens located at 300 North Thomas Street Athens, GA 30601-2627 (map).
Hotel Reservations
Rooms are reserved at both the Holiday Inn and Hilton Garden Inn at $89 and $114 a night respectively, under the group code "DPG."

Delegate Election
We encourage all Democratic Voters to run as a delegate to the convention. Please attend the county's caucus election on July 26th. We will elect 14 delegates and 8 alternates. Each person elected will recieve a convention t-shirt.
Note: All State Committee members are automatically delegates. They do not need to run for a delegate position.
